Cape Fear Dog Training Club Trial, Feb 21-22, 2015 - Pictures

Before going in the ring
Mia and I took another shot at Utility A Obedience at the Cape Fear Dog Training Club Trial, Feb 21-22, 2015 in Fayetteville, NC.  Once again, she came so, so close to Qing both days.  On Saturday, she was doing great until the very last jump.  For some reason, she turned and headed towards the glove she had retrieved earlier in our run.  On Sunday, she got very distracted by a dog drinking water during the signal exercise and missed her sit signal.  She also didn't go out far enough on her second go-out resulting in an NQ on that exercise.  I tend to be very critical of myself and while we definitely have areas to improve on, I was still very proud of us.  I felt like we looked pretty good together and seemed to be working as a team.  These are pictures from our run Sunday taken by Judi Nicholson...video of our runs will be posted next.

Happy Trails

I love being able to take Mia places where she can run off leash.  Unfortunately, many of those places are hard to find.  There is a wonderful park just outside of Wilmington that we go to whenever we have time.  Mia has so much fun running on the trails...if we lived closer, I would probably take her everyday.
